Haven, a community located on K-96 between Hutchinson and Wichita, is in Reno County. It was founded in 1886 and has a current population of 1,170 people. Haven is a growing community that has home sites available and new places for businesses are readily available. It is also home to a couple of businesses that ship their products worldwide.
Haven also has a lighter, more fun side to the town. It has a grocery store, bank, 2 car dealerships, hardware store, 2 antique stores, café, emergency medical services, 6 churches and more in its downtown. It also has activities for all ages included parks, ball diamonds, swimming pool, Scouting, FFA, and 4-H. Have hosts its annual Fall Festival and brings in many people from the community. Haven also is the home to public schools giving 12 years of education in the city limits.
