Lyons, a community founded in 1876, is the county seat of Rice County. It has a population of 3,688 people and has many attractions and opportunities for employment. Lyons has the Coronado-Quivira Museum, a Veteran’s Day Parade, the lighting of The Square, the Lighted Christmas Parade, the Lyons Back-to-school BBQ with lots of activities and a street dance.
Lyons also has many businesses and in town conveniences.
